Job Description: As the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company's compliance program. Your primary goal will be to ensure that DPDP Consultants operates in a manner consistent with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will collaborate with various departments to establish and maintain effective compliance controls and work to foster a culture of ethics and compliance throughout the organisation.

Responsibilities

Policy Development and Implementation:
  • Develop and update compliance policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulations and business operations.
  • Implement policies across the organisation and ensure widespread understanding and adherence.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential areas of compliance vulnerability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate compliance risks and enhance the overall compliance framework.
Training and Communication:
  • Design and deliver compliance training programs to educate employees on relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Foster a culture of compliance through effective communication and awareness campaigns.
Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Establish systems for ongoing monitoring and auditing to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Prepare regular reports for executive leadership and the Board of Directors on the state of compliance within the organization.
Investigations and Remediation:
  • Oversee the investigation of compliance violations and develop corrective action plans.
  • Work with legal and other relevant departments to address and remediate compliance issues.
Collaboration
  • Collaborate with legal, risk management, and other departments to align compliance efforts with broader organizational goals. Serve as a key point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (12+ years) as a compliance officer or in a similar role within the Industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
