Data Principal Grievance Redressal (DPGR) – Empowering Your Data Rights

According to Section 12 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, the Data Principal has the right to inquire, correct, complete, update or request the company to remove his/her personal data from the company records. These requests made by the data principal need to be addressed within a reasonable time.

DPGR allows data principal to raise their rights through a user-friendly platform and allows requests to be accessed by the Data Protection Officers/concerned persons manually or in an automated way. It aims to significantly reduce response times to these requests and ensure compliance with government laws.
